Study Well Public School

Sports

For true integrated growth to take place, our children’s physical self must be systematically developed. Sports facilities at our school include indoor games and outdoor sports. The sports curriculum is designed according to the needs of the different age groups. In the pre-primary classes, emphasis is laid on the development of gross motor skills, physical stamina, flexibility, balance, strength, hygiene, overcoming physical fears and hesitations and the development of team play. In the primary classes, games with rules become increasingly important. Team accomplishments complement individual goals for excellence. Gradually, skills of play and precision with mastery assume greater significance for students of the secondary and senior secondary classes.

Indoor facilities will be made available for table tennis, chess, carom and gymnasium. Outdoor sports include basketball, tennis, badminton, football and athletics.

Recreation

We have developed recreation as a part of curriculum. It helps students develop their creativity and team spirit. Painting, Pottery, Sculpture, Debates, Photography, Public speaking, Drama are the few activities under recreation.

These activities under the guidance of experienced coaches provide an opportunity to the students for overall holistic development of their personality. There activities help students in developing leadership skills, tem spirit, time management and a positive attitude towards life.

Life Skill Development

Our schools provide the feeling of being in a close community and learning the lessons of living in it along with all the fellow beings. It helps the students learn the social norms and rules of living in a society.

 Clubs & Activities

We have formed various clubs that have various activities to hone the creative talent in students. Painting, literary activities, Photography, public speaking, Dramatics, music, dance are few of the leisure activities of these clubs. Each club has an identity, style and agenda of its own. These activates under the guidance of the experienced people provide a proper channel for creative thinking and act as safety release for bottled up emotions and inculcate positive attitude.

Leadership & Interpersonal Skills

Various educational & recreational activities are regular part of our schools, which enable students to develop bond among themselves and develop inter personal skills, leadership, value of sharing, caring teamwork, collaboration and co-ordination.

 Imagination & Creativity

The process of learning includes various events & project works that challenge students imagination and creativity. When the students combine the knowledge gained with their creative power, they can do things in a novel way.

Independence & Initiative

We strongly believe in disciplined and a strict daily routine, but at the same time, the student has the independence to work, explore and research using his imagination and creativity. The students are allowed to take initiative for various tasks that enable them to set an example amongst their schoolmates. They are allowed to pursue hobbies and do things independently.
